Or conspiracy theories of such shady businesses actually being paid to install backdoors into their client’s heads, to allow all sorts of untoward access. There are certainly sites on the web where those in the know can piggyback onto the streaming visual data of any number of real individuals going about their daily lives. A voyeur’s dream which is kept semi-legal by half-hearted banner announcements that everyone involved is most definitely a voluntary exhibitionist or paid actor, offering their live POV to several thousand strangers at once. Of course, none of this is enough to discourage those to have access to the latest technological craze… And the mainstream media seems strangely slow and quiet to report on any cases of misuse.
