Chapter 1- Intro

It is the first day of summer vacation at Cielisium University. This means it’s time for the start of the annual Gender Wars. A battle that takes place between the boys and girls on campus to see which gender comes out on top.

The goal? For the boys to capture/catch the girls, and the girls to capture/catch the boys. Secret hideouts are built, leadership teams are established, and strategies and plans are created to see which side can come out on top.

The Rules are clear and simple- Anything and everything is fair game so long as it doesn’t create any lasting damage beyond the summer. Essentially- punishments, injuries, etc. can only last until the start of the next school year when everything has to return to “normal”, unless both individuals explicitly agree to continue a specific agreement and arrangement of their own free will. Mind Control is also banned, and it’s widely expected that punishments can be cruel, harsh and definitely embarrassing, but not dangerous.

The leadership teams for this year? On the girls side, Emily Moore has been named the Captain. She’s popular of course, popular enough to be voted as the captain, despite only being a Second Year at 19. Out of the 2000 Students attending Cielisium (500 students per year at 18, 19, 20, 21, with 250 of each gender to ensure even numbers and fairness), she finished Top 10 in Academics in her First Year and Top 5 in her Second Year. She’s considered by most to be one of the most attractive girls on campus. Blonde hair, green eyes, around 5’8” and about 125 pounds or so, she’s got perfectly average girl parts, nothing faked or exaggerated, just naturally her. Some guys obsessed with that sort of thing would call her a little flat or small, but she’s not catering to those boys, she doesn’t want them. Makeup wise, she goes pretty light, focusing on accenting her features, enough to make her look attractive and cute, but certainly nothing noticeable or that makes her look like a clown. Then comes her notable achievements. She’s the star gymnast on the Gymnastics team, leading the team to their best finishes in school history through her first two years, including finishing Top 10 individually as a First Year and setting school records and finishing Top 5 in the country as a Second Year. She’s incredibly athletic and flexible and super talented in that space in addition to her academic achievements, making first team All Student Athlete which highlights the Top 5 students based on Academic and Athletic combined successes. So all in all, she’s athletic, attractive and academically smart.

She has named her two best friends Valerie Collins and Natalie Hall as her two Assistant Captains and her two favorite teammates on the Gymnastics team Madison Miller and Katie Harris as her two advisors to complete her staff. More may or may not be revealed about them later on/over time depending on the path of the story, but the short version is they all already have crushes and are already more or less taken and committed to boys. Valerie is the more shy/calm/polite/low key girl of the group, Natalie is the more outgoing/expressive/adventurous one, Madison tends to lean more outgoing and expressive but isn’t as much as Natalie, Katie tends to lean more calm/polite side but not as much as Valerie, and Emily represents variance and changes dramatically from situation to situation.

On the boys side, to combat the naming of Emily as Captain of the girls, the boys have also named a 19 year old second year as their Captain. Lucas Louis. Lucas is a star football player who plays Cornerback and Safety on defense, starting as a first year and being one of the best players on the team, but making a jump as a second year to being one of the best players in the country and making the All Nation first team. He’s shooting to win Defensive Player of the Year as a Third Year next season and is working hard to try and accomplish his goals. He’s 6’1” 175, with light blonde hair, blue eyes and nothing else really abnormal, special or worth mentioning regarding his appearance. Most girls think he’s hot because he’s on the Football team and talented, but there’s also the set of girls who don’t follow sports at all and think he’s kinda cute but nothing model like or anything crazy. He’s also pretty good academically as well, finishing in the Top 10 amongst the boys in his year both years so far, but people don’t think of him as a Geek or Nerd, or for that matter even a Jock. He’s able to find a pretty good mix of everything and in person he’s just trying to be normal and fit in socially with as many people as he can, which is part of why he was able to get so many votes for Captain because he’s a good unifying presence of all the different cliques within the school.

He’s chosen to name his two best friends Danny Nelson and Anthony Evans as his two co captains, and two of his football teammates Nathan Anderson and Mason Miller to be his two advisors. More will be revealed about them depending on the path of the story, but essentially Anthony is the more outgoing/expressive/adventurous one, Danny is the more shy/reserved/calm/respectful one, while Mason leans towards being more outgoing and expressive but not as much as Anthony, while Nathan tends to lean towards being more calm and reserved but not as much as Danny. Lucas tries to find a balance between the group, which is part of why he was elected to be the leader.

From here, there will be 4 different options to pursue.
