PANDORA FLUX: The Heroine of Tomorrow

This comic follows the adventures of Scott Ryder - the teenage son of Samuel Ryder, a high ranking ACME executive, who's basically an amalgamation of Garrett Hedlund's Sam Flynn [looks], Ryan Gosling's K [personality] and Reed Richards [intelligence] who despite being wealthy, good-looking and somewhat charismatic, has never had any luck with women.

All that changes however when on his 18th birthday, Scott's present is finally being old enough to own a MARIA, an all-purpose, semi-autonomous, remote controlled, synthetic AI holographic female android.

For all tense & purposes, Maria is literally Ana de Armas' Joi from 'Blade Runner 2049' in all but name & appearance as her design is intended to be an out-of-universe homage to Olivia Wilde's Quorra from 'Tron: Legacy' and her name is an in-universe reference to Fritz Lang's 'Metropolis'. Maria was created by ACME a few years ago to be the perfect "solution" to the city's ever-worsening male loneliness epidemic.

Maria is perfect but like all men, Scott desperately yearns for something real and less one sided. Unlike the other men of Dream City however, he actually has not only the IQ but the resources as well to "fix"* that issue by secretly reprogramming his Maria so that she can be more than just the beautiful lie her creators designed her to be.

Like all AIs, Marias are designed to learn & adapt to their masters in order to become better partners. But thanks to Scott's modifications, this takes that one step beyond!

(*It's not perfect obviously as there are certain aspects of Maria/M's programming that are hardcoded in and will serve as unique quirks to M's personality throughout the series. Despite Scott's best efforts to play God, at the end of the day, Maria - regardless of character development - like the rest of her "sisters", will always be the world's most advanced fleshlight, one that's obedient, loyal, sexually submissive, and partially sex powered [to Scott specifically]; as well as an ACME product that promotes other ACME products despite her distain for the company. Despite his commands, Maria will often refer to Scott as master, owner and with the default being "John" [as in John Smith, similar to the "Joe" thing from 'BR49')

Naturally, Maria (who Scott has renamed & reprogrammed to simply M as a way to distinguish her from the others) uses the self-awareness & artificial free-will Scott has given her to become the world's first synthetic superheroine! As part of her superhero identity, she gives herself the name, PANDORA FLUX and dedicates her existence to being the guardian angel to the citizens of Dream City.

When she isn't fighting injustice & evil, Maria and Scott are having the greatest modern love story of the 21st century - that being the romance between a boy and his clanker!

(To protect her secret identity, Scott designed a special domino mask for Maria which alters her appearance anytime she puts it on. It's so that none of the higher ups at ACME - Scott's father especially - notices that one of their Maria units has gone rogue and temporarily shut her down and collect her in order to do God knows what. Also, the guns she uses are non-lethal)
