Getting late? or out on the couch?
ed out.
You knew you were tired but didn't think you were that tired that you would out 3/4 of the way through a movie.
You woke up alone on the couch the next day, to hear the unmistakable sounds from the kitchen of someone cooking. Which was strange as you lived alone. Your brain was taking its sweet time waking up for you to realize that you never saw Jessica leave, and given her strong affection for you, jumped at the chance to spend the night.
After a trip to the bathroom, you stagger to the kitchen and see Jessica, wearing only the t-shirt you gave her, cooking up some omelets. The sight of such a beauty in the kitchen makes you tongue-tied.
"Good Morning handsome" Jessica beams as she starts to plate the omelets. "I hope you slept well"
"It was alright, couches aren't my absolute favorite," You say as you rub the back of your neck "I take it you didn't go home last night?"
Jessica pouts "I know you think I should have, BUT I fell asleep...." then her pout changes back to a smile "Now we get to have breakfast together!"
Moving to sit at the table, you shake your head "Jessica, we have breakfast together ... at your house... a couple of times a week since I moved here"
Puts the food in front of you and then gets hers before sitting down across from you. "Yes but this way I don't have to share you with my Mom or have my Dad constantly keeping time or frowning at me."
You rub your eyes "Please tell me you at least called your parents, so they don't think you are missing " you ask as you started to eat the omelet. It was actually decent.
