Chapter 19 by lustquilll lustquilll

What's next?

The stakeout

The next morning, Quinn sat at her desk in her small room, reviewing notes on her laptop. She had swapped her usual baggy hoodie for a slightly different one, swapped her regular glasses for a pair with a different frame, and pulled a plain black baseball cap low over her messy black curls. It was the most “disguise” she was willing to do.

Violet burst in, already dressed for the mission. She wore a short plaid detective skirt that barely reached mid-thigh, a cropped tweed jacket that struggled to contain her large breasts, fishnet stockings, and a deerstalker hat tilted at a jaunty angle. She held a magnifying glass like a weapon.

“Ready, partner?” Violet announced dramatically. “The game is afoot!”

Quinn looked up, deadpan. “This is my disguise. It’s practical.”

Violet circled her, clicking her tongue. “Boring! You look like you’re going to the library, not on a stakeout. Where’s the flair? The drama?” She struck a pose. “Elementary, my dear Quinn!”

Quinn sighed. “We’re supposed to stay hidden. Not win an award for best costume.”

Violet pouted but didn’t argue further. “Fine. Let’s go catch our target.”

They left the frat house separately and met up a block away, then began tailing Ethan across campus. He was walking with his usual cocky swagger, phone in hand, clearly heading somewhere specific.

Violet kept up a running commentary in a terrible British accent. “The suspect is on the move… observe his confident gait. He believes he is untouchable.” She nearly walked into a lamppost while gesturing dramatically. “Whoops—elementary mistake!”

Quinn grabbed her arm and pulled her behind a tree. “Quiet. He’s stopping.”

Ethan went into the campus bookstore first, then the student union for a quick snack. Both locations were painfully mundane. Violet almost blew their cover twice — once by loudly whispering “The plot thickens!” when Ethan bought a bottle of water, and again when she tripped over her own heels and had to be steadied by Quinn.

Finally, Ethan headed toward a quiet off-campus coffee shop tucked behind some trees.

“Target acquired,” Violet whispered excitedly as they slipped inside and took a corner table. “Now we observe.”

They ordered quickly and tried to look inconspicuous. Violet, however, couldn’t help herself. When the barista asked for her order, she announced in a loud, theatrical voice, “One venti half-caff soy latte with extra foam, two pumps of vanilla, and a dash of cinnamon on top — shaken, not stirred!”

The barista blinked. Several heads turned. Quinn sank lower in her seat, pulling her baseball cap down further.

Violet sat down with a satisfied grin. “What? I had to stay in character.”

A few minutes later, the door opened again. Professor Vanessa Hart walked in.

Both Quinn and Violet went still.

Vanessa was stunning. At 5'8" in sleek black heels, she moved with natural elegance and authority. Her dark chestnut hair fell in loose, expensive-looking waves past her shoulders. She wore a fitted cream silk blouse with the top two buttons undone, hinting at generous cleavage, paired with a tight navy pencil skirt that hugged her long toned legs and round ass. Designer glasses framed her sharp, intelligent eyes. She looked every bit the sophisticated, confident professor.

Quinn murmured quietly, “She’s hot.”

Violet nodded slowly, eyes wide. “Like… really hot. No wonder Ethan thinks he’s special.”

Vanessa spotted Ethan at a corner table and walked over with a confident smile. She sat down across from him, immediately sliding one long leg forward so her foot rested between his thighs under the table. Ethan straightened up, a mix of nervousness and excitement on his face.

Vanessa started speaking first, her voice smooth and commanding. “My day has been exhausting. Three department meetings, two students crying in my office about their grades, and the dean still hasn’t approved my funding request. I could really use some release.”

Ethan tried to chime in cheerfully. “Yeah, my week hasn’t been much better. The Cougars lost again on Saturday, and—”Vanessa cut him off with a raised eyebrow and a slight smile. “Petty college feuds and sports? Darling, please. Let’s not waste time on that.”

Ethan shut his mouth quickly.

When the barista came over, Ethan started to order. “I’ll have a—”Vanessa interrupted smoothly, not even looking at the barista. “He’ll have a black coffee. Plain bagel on the side.”

Ethan looked a little embarrassed but didn’t argue.

Violet whispered loudly from their corner table, “Eww, black coffee? Boring.”

She then ordered her own drink in the same theatrical voice as before: “And I’ll have a salmon everything bagel with extra cream cheese, please!”

Quinn sank even lower in her seat.

Back at their table, Vanessa continued talking about her stressful week, her foot slowly rubbing against Ethan’s crotch under the table. “You’re looking much better today in that outfit,” she said, voice low. “But I still have complaints. I told you to wear that watch I like. And those socks don’t match your shoes at all.

”Ethan shifted in his seat, clearly affected by her foot. “Sorry, I’ll do better next time—”Vanessa cut him off again with a soft laugh. “Good boy.”

She “accidentally” dropped her napkin on the floor. With deliberate slowness, she bent down to pick it up, giving both Quinn and Violet a clear view of her impressive cleavage and the way her tight pencil skirt hugged her round ass. Ethan’s eyes were glued to her the entire time.

Violet whispered, barely able to contain herself, “She’s got him completely wrapped around her finger…”Quinn watched silently, studying every detail — Vanessa’s composure, the effortless way she held control, the subtle smirk when Ethan squirmed. A small, calm smile tugged at Quinn’s lips.

This was going to be interesting.

They stayed hidden as long as they could, watching Vanessa dominate the conversation and Ethan’s reactions. When the pair finally stood up to leave together, Violet grabbed Quinn’s arm excitedly.

“Come on! They’re heading somewhere else. We can’t lose them now!”

Quinn nodded, adjusting her baseball cap. “Stay quiet this time.”

As they slipped out of the coffee shop behind Ethan and Vanessa, Violet couldn’t resist one last dramatic whisper:

“The game… is truly afoot.”
